Penguin Patch
Kids shopped a lot!
St. Thomas church helped out with donations over and above what was needed for the Giving Tree donation. Kelli bought from Kohl’s and Amazon, and PTO will cover the extra items purchased with our earnings from this event.
Holiday Baskets
We made $1,759 – not best year, not worst year. Great baskets!
Chill Out
2025 seconds of reading on January 3rd – we provided candy canes, cups, and hot chocolate. 8th grade mixed and served.
Emily brought the stuff the day before and all went well.
Teachers’ meal
Soup and salad bar for lunch 1/15. We have a signup that is filled in. A mom is also bringing mac and cheese from her workplace!! On Wed, Emily will be there at 10:15 and Lisa will also help to set up. We have crockpots to keep stuff warm. We need a few things yet that our board can cover.
Movie Night
Movie night ... on January 30. Despicable Me 4 is out on DVD. Do pizzas, popcorn, a few candies. Could do a meal option for pizza, chip and juice. Movie is free, and we would need a few helpers.
Spring Fundraiser
Emily has greenhouse connections. But we might have an issue if we don’t sell all the flowers we order.
Qdoba has a family meal night where people can go for an evening to support the PTO—25% of sales would go to us! It’s not too difficult to participate. We could do it in Mukwonago and it’s a very low investment in that we only have to set it up and advertise. It is a great way to get an easy meal for the family and offer support.
Kwik Trip Car Washes fundraiser is 5 car washes for $36, we could presell them, then we order them, and then disperse—we get $16 per card.
We could do Qdoba in Feb and do car wash in March! We need to pick dates.
End of year carnival
We will reserve the inflatables from All Star Rentals (Joane), and the petting zoo should be included in some form. Maybe the FFA from high school could come, but there is liability. We’ve done the Racine Zoo but the animals are not as exciting.
Open Floor
There’s a basketball tournament for traveling teams at our school. Volunteers will be needed. Feb 21-22.
We will need to provide ice cream treats for honor roll on 2/5.
We need soda for the meal on Wed. Julianna will try to get some on sale. Julianna was thinking it would be nice to make a visual printout of each soup so the staff knows what they are getting.
