PTO Meeting Minutes
I. Call To Order
Meeting called to order 5:06 p.m.
II. Treasure’s report:

Savings: $6,811.92
Checking: $5,637.54
III. Holiday Shop- Thank you Valerie and all the volunteers for your help. It went well and the kids really enjoy shopping for their family and friends. A vote was made to donate $350.00 towards the schools “Giving Tree”. We will research other options for holiday shops after discussing the issues we had this year.
IV. Holiday Concert- Gift baskets are complete and set up will be done Tuesday December 10th after school. Morning ticket sales will be done by Tina and Taffy (expecting 10-15 people to buy during the rehearsal concert). Evening volunteers are still needed to help sell tickets by 5:00. An idea was made to raffle off the 1st 2 rows of chairs to reserve for guest during the spring concert in April.
V. Christmas Brunch- Wednesday December 18, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm with food arriving by 10:00am so set up can be done. Tina is chairing this brunch and sign up genius needs to be made (Joane).
VI. January events- “Chill Out” is set for January 3rd 2020. Students will read for a total of 2,020 seconds it’s a fun way to start off the New Year. After reading, hot chocolate and candy canes will be served by the PTO.
VII. Amazon-Krista is still working on getting “Letter of Affirmation” from IRS.
VIII. Credit Card Reader- Joane will look into options. We would like to have one for future events.
VIIII. Open to the floor- Teen movie night for grades 3rd-5th with 8th graders doing concessions. Friday January 10, 2020.
-PTO will continue to fund the 8th grade snack cart. $81.00 needed for Mr. Thompson to buy snacks for the cart (Krista).
